Jeanne Kane has spent over 25 years in the investment banking business primarily in institutional sales.

From 2006 through 2008 Ms. Kane worked in Lehman’s Diversity and Inclusion group. She was responsible for globally managing all of the Diversity Employee networks. Working closely with Diversity Recruiting Ms. Kane directed the network members to effectively recruit diverse candidates on campus. Ms. Kane also managed and helped create the Partnership Solution Group (PSG) which developed partnerships and strategies for women and minority run firms. PSG advised major institutions such as, GE, Walmart and Met Life on how best to work with minority firms, as well as, manage their diverse employees and suppliers. This effort strengthened client relationships at all levels. Ms. Kane was a member of the Catalyst Advisory Board, a global non-profit independent research firm covering Fortune 500 firms.

From 1997 to 2006, Ms. Kane worked at Lehman Brothers as the Global Manager of the Fixed Income Institutional Client Group (ICG). In this capacity, she was responsible for enhancing the Firm’s ability to deliver all fixed income products to its middle market and high net worth clients. Under Ms. Kane’s management, the ICG sales force doubled production and was rated the #1 middle market sales force through the Greenwich Sales Survey.

From 1990 through 1997, Ms. Kane was the Global Sales Manager for Short-Term Products, where her responsibilities ranged from managing sales to funding Lehman and developing major institutional client relationships throughout the US, Europe and Asia. She began managing this team in New York in 1990 and assumed national and then global responsibilities in 1992.

From 1986 through 1990, Ms. Kane worked as a Money Market salesperson for Lehman Brothers.

Before Lehman, Ms. Kane worked in Fixed Income Sales for Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. in New York and as a Money Market sales assistant with First Boston Corporation in Philadelphia.

Ms. Kane is married with four children and lives in Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Kane graduated from Pennsylvania State University in Health, Planning and Administration. Ms. Kane graduated with honors from Boston University with a Masters in Business Administration.
